For example some systems where information technology is used to help HRM within Hancock Manufacturing are: systems for e-recruitment, on-line short-listing of applicants, developing training strategies on-line, psychometric training, payroll systems, employment data, recruitment administration, references, and pre-employment checks. Every single system applied by HRM enables the organization to keep task simple by following simple applications; helping HRM to focus on other situation within the company. Hancock Manufacturing uses technology in the form of Information Technology because it also ensures that a greater amount of information is available to all departments to help make decisions in strategic planning for the organization.
Hancock Manufacturing prides itself for using the on-line system of e-recruitment. Through the use of e-recruitment Perhaps the most commonly cited advantage of electronic recruiting is its ability to reach a wider range of audiences. Reaching a larger target means a greater number of job seekers. The larger the number of applicants, the greater the chance that one of those is the most competent applicant for the job position (Johnson, 2012)
