The first step in my plan to lose weight is to understand how to lose weight. The first step is easy to understand the explanation of exactly what is required for weight loss to take place. How it happens, why it happens, and most important of all... what you need to do in order to make it happen. You will need to know this in order to create your weight loss diet plan in step two.
You need to know you’re calorie deficit, which is giving your body less calories than it needs. Weight loss is all about calories and more specifically, it's about creating a calorie deficit. A proper diet plan combined with a proper workout is the ideal weight loss scenario. Also, your total calorie intake is the most important aspect of weight loss, where those calories come from is a close second. As far as calorie choices go, there's really only three; protein, carbs and fat.
People will do ab exercises, like crunches or sit-ups, with the hopes of losing stubborn stomach pudge, but these exercises will strengthen the stomach muscles, in and of themselves they will not help to get rid of stomach pudge. The fat that lies around the stomach can only be lost through fat burning cardiovascular exercises. This type of exercise is anything that uses the major muscle groups and elevates the heart rate for a sustained period of time. Cardio will burn fat all over the body, including the stubborn stomach pudge. Experts recommend that in order to lose weight, you do some form of cardio exercise for at least 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week.
Running can be hard on the knees if done for long distances or over a long period of time, but is one of the best forms of cardiovascular exercise that burns a large amount of calories in a short amount of time, which equals fat loss, including stubborn stomach pudge.
