In the Healthcare industry there are many different settings in which the various methods of care are delivered. In all of these environments a Christian approach to providing total quality of life care should be utilized.
The baby boomer population is growing older and this has changed the way the healthcare industry is planning for long term and other methods of care. The industry is looking at the way facilities are constructed to meet the needs of these individuals later in their lives. The focus on disease based care is diminishing, and a new holistic approach is being experimented with in care facilities across the United States. (HHS.gov 2011).
