I have read and reviewed the document, implemented some changes to the day care services.
The staff team was shown a copy of the bill, they have read and understood it, and are implementing it in their day to day practice.

This method of communication involves using signs, symbols, and pictures.
I completed this training and now I am able to do workshops for staff enabling them to gain the skills to use this method. I have trained staff across the three services in Croydon and now this method of communication for individuals who are a verbal is being used successfully.
I took this decision to do the course as it was very essential tool that can be used to support the people we support in going about their day to day routine without getting stressed and lesser chances of challenging behaviour being displayed. I got the support from my line manager who put forth my name and helped me complete the training.

Supervision It is a time for staff to discuss and verify issues, and finding ways to resolve them. It helps staff to work together to ensure their professional and personal needs which are addressed and helping them to perform better. To identify and address concerns about the staff knowledge and how they are implementing that in their day to day practice, setting targets and goals that are achievable and helping them to develop their skills.
