Introduction

Globalization is the worldwide trend of economic integration across border that allows businesses to expend beyond their domestic boundaries. It means that the companies are no longer limited by their countries and may conduct their business anywhere in the world, which produce numerous effects on management such as how management localization, global coordination, managing global talent and global performance management. To develop and manage a global organization implies developing and managing people who can think, lead, and act from a global perspective, managers would be able to face at different challenges, like different cultures, new global work force trends, ethics ...view middle of the document...

However, to develop efficiency and effectiveness work activities, the aspects of organizational culture should be identified clearly.

Organizational culture influences management in several ways. First of all, the culture of a company affects managerial decisions making about work design and work force planning. Employee management practices are mechanisms to transfer cultural values into the way of how employees carry out their tasks and projects (David, L & Mary, G, 2010). It means that the managers make use of practices theory to create value. For example, a company is likely to reward people for individual sales rather than for being good team members. Secondly, the culture of a company influences the effectiveness of employee management practices. It might not be important to fit the culture values of a company or not. Thirdly, the strength of culture influences the effectiveness of employee management practices. When a culture is strong and longer enough, the employee will have a clear understanding of what they are doing and how they keep doing the right thing.

Managing the new global workforce

Recently, the globalization of economies and marketplace are transforming worldwide the workplace as well as the workforce. The great number of workers is moving across borders and national cultures, which increasing diversity within societies. While, the globalization of workplace has become a face of substantial segment that bringing a dramatic expansion of the scope of management and a new big organizational challenges (Karen.R & Ellen.E &Cynthia.O, 2005).

Today, global corporations are transforming themselves into "transnational”. Also, they move work to the places with the talent to handle the job and the time to do it at the right cost. William J. Amelio, the CEO of Lenovo, the world's third-largest computer maker, called his global workforce strategy as "world sourcing." (William J. A, 2005). Lenovo has executive the offices in five cities worldwide and organizes its workforce around hubs of expertise, such as hardware designers in Japan and marketers in India. Because of the expanding of economics workforce has changed a lot practically in the sex and age selection.
