Business leaders must remember the differences in cultures and will not be able to conduct business in the same fashion as in their home state. Furthermore concerning diverse teams in organizations and the opinions they represent about which goals and objectives to pursue, diverse team have been known to subdivide into smaller groups in direct opposition with other groups. As a result it is common place for companies wishing to relocate some business over international waters to hire a mentor to guide them through the process. It is not only American companies looking for foreign workers but international companies are looking for foreign employees also. Research indicates companies need colleges to interject teaching international business skills into their curriculum since at least 1984 but colleges and business schools have felt the opposite or have simply missed the memo.
