A healthy lifestyle is an important part of one's lifestyle. It said “that average family consumes 2,700 calories daily by men and women. In a year, 23 pounds of pizza, 29 pounds of French fries, 53 gallons of soda, and 73.6 of poultry” (Family Circle, 2011. p 13 ). This will give the fiber that I need and also the vitamins that I lack of. Developing a healthy diet and consuming the right amount of vitamins and fiber will balance my diet. I can incorporate fruits by cutting down in discretionary and replacing fruits with it. I can cut down on discretionary and meat and beans because I agree I do consume too much of that looking back at my iProfile. I plan to have less meats and beans on my plate and more fruits and vegetables.
My macro nutrients distribution range was shown as within acceptable macro nutrient distribution range. My fat intake was 31% . Even though it was that low, I believe that if I lowered my discretionary, it my fat intake would be even lower. I try to stay away from fast foods and fried foods because I know that they have lots of fats. I can also watch my carbohydrates. At a 51 % level, I do not want it to go over, so I plan just to watch it a little bit. My protein intake was at a 16 % . This was surprising to me because I overly consume meats and I expected it to be higher than it was. I can eat more fish, or snack or nuts because it is a good source to lower the risk of heart disease. Obtaining a fiber level, seeing my diet and my food in a chart, I can definitely understand the changes I need to do, for example stay away from discretionary and eat more fruits.
When I compared Kelly Watson profile, I found that her profile was way healthier than mines. I have made some good food...
