With nearly 1 billion citizens, India is the second most populated nation in the world. There are twenty-four languages that are spoken by a million people or more, and countless other dialects. India has seven major religions and many minor ones, six main ethnic groups, and countless holidays. India is located in South Asia and it is a country named officially the Republic of India. It borders the Indian Ocean on the south, the Arabian Sea on the west, and the Bay of Bengal on the east. It is the seventh-largest country by area and the second-most populous country.

Indian food is therefore considered to be amongst the most diverse of all cuisines with every region having its own unique technique and methods used to prepare a dish. Rice and rotis (bread) form to be the main food items with various pulses; along with interesting types of pickles. Indian curries are really unique and most sought after in India.
Head towards south and you will be fascinated with the green environment and food, towards north the Himalayas is waiting to welcoming you, the west is all time favorite city lies called Mumbai, and the east is filled with amazing beauty of Sundarban Area – a forest where greenery and animals are the major draw. Wherever you go, the food of India is the special and delicious that cannot be found in the entire world.

If you look at India's history, you will find that India is full of so many interesting facts. Indians have always been intelligent and creative. It is one of the oldest countries in the world. It is a land where all the people from different cultures and religious background live together as a nation. Indian people are very friendly and caring. They like spending time with their families. There are so many different languages spoken in India but still you can communicate with people through the national language of Hindi.

India is also known for their beautiful buildings and statues, known as the Taj Mahal, one of the eight wonders of the world. Emperor named Sahah Jahan, for his wife Mumtaz Mahal Shah Jahan met Mumtaz Mahal and fell in love. He married her after five years and they were leading a very happy life. While giving birth to their last child, Mumtaz Mahal died due to some complications. A few years later Shah Jahan built the world's most beautiful monument "Taj Mahal" in the memory of his wife.
One of the wonders of the world "Taj Mahal" has a beautiful love story behind its construction. Taj Mahal love story is about Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal.
This is the true story of the Taj Mahal of India, which has mesmerized many people with its bewitching beauty.

Food and characteristic flavors of the country:

India is known for the type of food, spices, and cuisine, there are many types of food eaten in all over India. Possibly the most famous Punjabi contribution to Indian food is the tandoori style of cooking. This method uses large earthen ovens that are heated to high temperatures using coal fires. Once hot, many types of meat, breads, or vegetable dishes may be cooked inside. This method gives food a distinctive flavor and seals in the aroma of the item.

India is a diverse country with many regional cultures; each region has its own food specialties, primarily at regional level, but also at provincial level. The differences can come from a local culture and geographical location whether a region is close to the sea, desert or the mountains, and economics.
