Ultimately I decided to allocate large portions of that incoming summer in order to improve myself.
Action : I began by identifying what I could to to improve my game. I decided to improve my athleticism, defense, and shooting. In order to improve my athleticism I began running 2 miles a day and I began a jump-training program called Air alert. Both of these actions greatly improved my athleticism. I was able to improve my defense by playing 3 times a week and choosing to guard different kinds of players. I also improved my shooting by putting in a lot of time shooting every day, spending an average of 1 hour a day shooting.
Result : With all of the work I put in, not only was I able to make the team, I was able to secure a large portion of playing time on the freshman team. I learned the value of hard work, and how enough of it can pay off. In addition to simply making the team, I was also able to develop a quick number of friends and in the long run I was able to bolster my apps for college.
