Después de obtener los documentos de RFI y RFP debemos de realizar la evaluación de los proveedores y para este caso debemos de:
* Comparar los documentos recibidos de los potenciales proveedores.
* Seleccionar de 3 a 5 proveedores.
* Realizar una reunión con cada proveedor.
* Establecer un calendario para una presentación del software
* Reunir a todo el equipo para la presentación del software.
* Seleccionar 2 candidatos posibles.
* Elegir el proveedor adecuado.

Como usaremos un canned software, prácticamente será un modelo creado para nosotros, y antes de lanzar la aplicación debemos de evaluar y revisar los prototipos expuestos y dar nuestras opiniones acerca del mismo, si en el caso de que haya que modificar o quitar alguna opción, o a su vez agregar nuevas opciones, o disminuir sesiones en los procesos.
Tenemos que evaluar aspectos tales como: facilidad de uso, funcionalidad y velocidad.
* Migración.
En nuestro caso como somos una empresa que manejaba sus procesos e información mediante un software, solo debemos migrar sistemáticamente, es decir de nuestro viejo software a nuestro nuevo software, debemos de tener en cuenta que para estar seguros de que la migración fue exitosa, tiene que corroborarse diariamente que nuestros software cargado con la información actual y acorde a cada área de la empresa, en este caso se puede solicitar informes en el nuevo sistema sobre la migración de la información, para poder estar seguros y poder aprobar la información migrada.
* Entrenamiento
En el entrenamiento se debe dar una explicación clara y precisa del manejo del nuevo software para toso los empleados, para asegurarnos de esta forma que no tendrán dudas y podrán desarrollar su trabajo sin ningún problema.
Como empresa tenemos pensado proporcionar un plan de entrenamiento de no más de 3 horas al día, dentro de las horas laborales.
Por último, después del entrenamiento y la versión final de la aplicación del software, encontramos la instalación de software, el cual se va a instalar en todas la computadoras de la empresa y asignaremos una persona por área para que pueda ayudar a sus colegas si estos tienen algún problema con el software
Después de lanzar la aplicación hay que tener en cuenta que es importante tener comunicación con el proveedor como consultores en línea, centro de llamadas, línea telefónica de emergencia, chat de soporte de aplicaciones privadas o sesiones de correo electrónico y de planificación para reforzar la formación, así como el soporte técnico.

Cuando evaluemos a los proveedores debemos de tener en cuenta los puntos claves que determinaran su selección como por ejemplo:
* Requerimientos funcionales
* Experiencia previa
* Garantía
* Proceso de implementación
* Servicio después de la instalación
