Electricity Generation by Hybrid Biomass Power Plant From Waste For Bangladesh

Abstract- Hybrid renewable Biomass Power is becoming popular for remote area power generation applications due to advances in renewable energy technologies and subsequent rise in prices of petroleum products. The strategic objective of the HYRESS project is to remove the knowledge barriers against the installation of Renewable Energy Systems and creation of micro and mini-grids. An efficient tool to apply and fulfill the strategic objective is the development, installation, testing and evaluation (technically and socially) of the performance of low-cost pilot hybrid renewable energy systems and mini-grids in selected remote sites far away from the grid, of Mediterranean Partner Countries. The hybrid systems will consist of photovoltaic, small wind generators, hydrogen subsystems and biodiesel generator and they will be installed in selected sites of Bangladesh. On these sites micro-grids will be created or upgraded both in capacity and in incorporation of renewable.
In these present days, the Environmental Pollution is a big problem for our world. Like all other countries, Bangladesh also has this problem. The waste materials from households, farms, industries and human waste are being dumped everywhere. To make the city clean from these wastage materials is a big issue for us. Another problem is the energy problem. Electricity is the major sector over all the other sectors in this issue. To find a solution from this electricity problem as well as wastage problem, we thought about a combined plan of producing Energy from Biomass. Here, biomass is including all sorts of waste materials and energy would be produced by Gasification and Combustion process. In the both cases we will go for an electricity generation process. A Gasification process will give us the gas product, and further steps will lead this gas to a gas Turbine to help run it. This turbine would then work for electricity generation. At the same time, a Combustion process will give us steam, and then we will use this gas in a gas turbine. This turbine would then produce electricity. The latest Concentration Solar Power (CSP) plant is a new attachment of this project. This plant will provide us with steam in a regular basis. There is a large amount of wastage producing everyday in this country. If we run such a project, we would be able to convert this ‗pollution issue‘ to a ‗solution issue'.
Energy lights our cities, powers our vehicles, and runs machinery in factories. It warms and cools our homes, cooks our food, plays our music, and gives us pictures on television. Energy is defined as the ability or the capacity to do work. We use energy to do work and make all movements. When we eat, our bodies transform the food into energy to do work. When we run or walk or do some work, we ‗burn‘ energy in our bodies. Cars, planes, trolleys, boats, and machinery also transform energy into work. Work means moving or lifting something, warming or lighting something. There are many sources of energy that help to run the various machines invented by man.
