To survive in such environment, business innovations turned out to be the ultimate solution. To this end, firms are beginning to use more technologies to boost efficiency, reduce their costs, and increase the synergies with its customers. However, some firms are poorly performing because they are lacking the know-how about the use and understanding of the rules governing such technologies and their impact on the customers and on the business in general. The articles we are faced with supports the view that new technological tools are playing a supportive role in assisting managers and businesses in their daily operations.

This paper highlights the necessity of rules and that the success of every company lies on providing their employees with the training and knowledge necessary to successfully implement those rules and thereby strengthening the customer-employee relationship. The paper refers to an article published in the employee Relations Law journal. The topics in the article will be studied and reviewed thoroughly followed by an assessment of their legitimacy and relevance to the work environment especially in Lebanon.
The article written by Sheridan & Williams: “Employee Training Key to Dodging Business Risks and protecting consumer Rights When Utilizing New Technologies’’ presents a thorough appreciation for the rules governing new technologies such as biometric scanning, personalized marketing and gift cards. Sheridan& Williams, being both experts in the fields of business and commercial litigation emphasized the importance for companies to build on the new opportunities offered by the market to strengthen their position. The objective of the article was to acknowledge the significance of consumer’s rights and the need to prepare employees to tackle these new programs, in addition to being aware of the risks that might follow.
Me and my partner Hadi will be studying and evaluating the article in detail supporting our analysis with the use of several other articles discussing technological devices, their usage in firms and companies, their benefits as well as the inherent limitations that might result and the recommended steps to be taken in each case.
