CEFFECTS OF SOCIAL MEDIAIn social media, people can easily find anyone they want, these people might be their high school friend form past, co-workers of them from present. Also, people can even find new friends and creates new relationship though social media , Facebook and Twitter. This phenomenon begs the question of whether a not social media helps people socialize , or does social media make people more anti-social ?. Spending sleepless nights, people especially teens spent most of their time in front of their computers and they became lazy. Losing face to face communication is another ...view middle of the document...

Firstly, spending sleepless night on Facebook or on other social media platform, can cause and probably would cause health issues in person's body. Feeling restless on day affects person's performance on day almost in everything, for example , If a person spend his last night on computer instead of in bed to rest, his body will not function at 100 percent, cannot do his responsibilities at work. If this person is a student, he cannot focus on his class and cannot gather information for his education and eventually he will fail on that course. This situation may cause stress and stress can cause serious disease. In the article ''Wired: Encourage positive aspects of social media for children, teens while guarding against risks'' by Deborah Johnson state '' The popularity of social networking on the Web has led researchers to identify a new phenomenon known as Facebook depression. Classic depression symptoms may develop in teens who spend too much time on social networking sites. Fueling the condition is the desire to be accepted by peers as well as the intensity of the online experience '' (2). The clinical report notes that sufferers are at risk for social isolation and may be unduly influenced by Web sites promoting substance abuse or sex. I think that is not just about sleepless nights , it also about our health and real life , people who has a teenage children , should agree that warning and they should be careful about their children.Secondly, another issue, lack of face to face communication skill between friends, as an example of this; in article ''Social Media- A Good Thing or a Bad Thing?'' by Syed Noman Ali gives an example about people who hide their true identity behind social media account. This cause avoiding real communication with people, instead of using verbal and oral words they use just letters on screen and become what account they have and how represent they self in that account. Like a dream of theirself so to say (3). I totally agree with the author , extreme use of social media can steal their identity , person might become what people created on their social media profile. Because people get digital, not real , they lose their skills make them human, communication is one of the most important thing what make us, human. Although, extreme use of social media makes person alone, people think they communicate with people with internet but in reality they just use letters to show how do they feel? But the main problem is that feeling must be felt by the person you communicate, cannot be describe by letters on the screen.Thirdly, when we follow the social media news , we do not see live events and most of social...
