The pros and cons of establishing a business presence in
social media outlets.

With the bizarre growth in the use of social media in the recent years, lots of businesses are
introducing social networking sites in their marketing strategy. Social network is one of the most
trendy marks on the technology scales nowadays. Sites such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and
lots of blogs and podcasts have made it easily for the businesses to communicate or interact with
their customers on a one-on-one basis. In other words, we can call it as a E-Business. E-business is

technology. E-business ...view middle of the document...

Taking advantage of the social media is the massive part of the equation. Share
pictures of the product on Facebook or Instagram. Post videos on YouTube. It will get some mutual
benefit among your company’s blog and those production commentators. Use the networking
capability of each section to tie them up together. For example, your Facebook post the pictures to
the Instagram group. It can turn into pervasive exposure.

The final advantage of establishing a business presence in social media is the power of people.
At the end of the day, word of mouth still regime highest. People are easily more happy to purchase
or be lifted in that direction if they’re aroused by the suggestion or persistence of someone they
recognise. By posting videos, pictures and product information, it will attract the clients to decide or
mention on the company’s offer. If you offered the clients with the high quality product, those
positive analysis can carry a fantastic weight with the potential customers.

The disadvantages of establishing a business presence in social media is it will take a lot of time
and resource. Social media operation relate a bit more than updating your Facebook status once a
day or write on your blog every week. When you write something that is not appropriate and does
not giving the clients beneficial or overlook your Twitter feed, it will push the clients away and it
will give a big loss for your business. Next, businesses have to set aside their time and resource to
social media operation, either in-house or outsourcing. Like any constant marketing achievement, it
is because they give a 100% commitment to the company. At the bigger companies, you’re
commonly looking at the vertical assimilation and public relations.

The second reason why is it hard to establish a business presence in social media is because of
the customers. Social media can be a major beneficial appliance for a small business to reach their
customers, you need to figure out whether you can still be connect with your customers or not by
using this medium. After that, some small and medium-sized enterprises will not able to interact
with their clients via social media. For example, a merchant or manufacturer will not get any

advantage from social networking whereas a merchant might be adequate to stand-in the interaction
needed to be fortunate with this medium.

Finally, the disadvantage of establishing a business presence in social media is about the
message you delivered to the clients. With social networking sites developing at such an
unbelievable rate, your message that have been delivered might easily get lost. The number of
Facebook users approximately over 500-600 million users and more than 10 million tweets are
being posted on Twitter. It is such a crowded surrounding and with the big number of users, it will
be a bit difficult for the businesses to deliver their message.

Social media can be a beneficial device for a...
