• What information about diversity in the United States has helped you better understand or relate to others in ways that you may not have in the past?
In my studies I have found confirmation of my belief that diversity in the United States will only improve with time as the increasing number of interracial unions increase. I have also affirmed my belief that so long as society chooses to put people into groups we will always have issues surrounding fair treatment of people from all walks of life. The biggest challenge the United States faces is that of language barriers. It would be simple to say everyone must speak English, but harder to put into practice. Unless the United States starts working toward a bilingual culture we will not only have the issues to face at home, but also hurt our ability to earn profits in a global market.
