1. What features or functions of PowerPoint (PPT) do you feel are generally useful?
I’ve never used PowerPoint so this is new to me. After reading and watching the M.U.S.E videos and the other sources in the learning materials, I feel that all the features and functions to PowerPoint will be useful. I have learned that your PowerPoint presentation should not be too flashy and the sound to your presentation should be appropriate. Long presentations can become drown out and unclear. Another thing is to make sure your font is big enough to read. If you’re presenting a presentation it is important for people to be able to read it from a distance. I found the tips for colors and themes very interesting. You don’t want to use some to bright or to flashy in color to take away from the importance of the presentation. And it’s very important to observe your audiences behavior. You want to see if your audience pays more attention to the slide presentation or to you. You don’t want your presentation to be more distracting than your speech. You can learn from this to improve your presentations as you go along.
