In RIT, there are a lot of cliques, and people are separated in their own groups. That is very common in schools, and workplaces. Especially being in college, not everyone hang out together, because not a lot of people have in common with each other. Due to an expansion of RIT/NTID students, numbers of cliques increases. Their characteristics, appearances, behaviors, sociality, and attitude are totally opposite from each other. In RIT/NTID, there are two groups, which are party animals and geeks, that are different from each other in several ways.
According to the people's life, entertainment and social life are very different between those groups. Party people entrain themselves in many different ways, like going out every weekend. They tend to party every weekend, and they always do ...view middle of the document...
Therefore, their entertainment and social life doesn’t have any commons.
Secondly, use of time is used in different ways for those people, and their attitudes about specific things are very different. Geeks would focus on school more than party people. They have good time management, better than party animals. Geeks are very focus on school, while party animals don’t. Their attitudes towards life and future are not even similar. Geeks are very serious with future, according to their hard work and a lot of effort in school. Party animals has nonchalant attitude toward life and future. Commonly, they are always late for classes, or they would sleep in during their classes. Geeks and party animals’ use of time and attitudes are very opposite.
In addition, those groups are viewed by other people in multiple perspectives. However, there are common opinions about those two different groups. In today's public and places, party animals are viewed as popular people. Geeks are considered as outcasts, because commonly, people think they are weird and not normal. Therefore, people tend to think party animals are normal people, because they look good and nice. Unfortunately, geeks usually get bullied by those people. Generally, party animals are popular while geeks are outcast.
Overall, college students in RIT/NTID are very different from each other in several ways. Geeks and party animals’ entertainment and social life are different, which geeks stay in while party people go out to party. Geeks are very focus on their future, and they use most of their time in school, while party animals does not. People's perspective of party animals are that they are popular while geeks as outcast. In my final thought, everyone is very different from each other, and I always disliked cliques. I think everyone should interact with each other, and it does not matter if you are very different from others.
