But the water in our bodies doesn’t just escape from the body through the sweat glands in our body it also can escape through urination, feces, and evaporation from the lungs and skin as well. The body can lose water through many way some of the most ways is by sweating and Alcohol these substances are what can increase water loss. So it is suggested that symptoms of the hangover are due to over indulgence of alcohol and the less-than-desirable after effects the individual experiences is, in fact, due to a level of decreased body hydration. But since the body does lose most of its water through the kidney’s the kidney’s will also let you know when you are running low on water by either the color of the urine will be a dark yellow or it will smell vary bad, being aware of these signs can help a person in being able to maintain a well hydrated body. Although when the body is experiencing a state of dehydration, or excessive water loss, other symptoms begin to occur and often these can lead to life threatening situations. A body that loses upto 10 to 20% of its total body weight can be in danger of fatal consequence. When there is not enough water in the blood supply the ability of the body to deliver essential oxygen and nutrients is greatly hindered. These signal indications that the body tells us that we are dehydrated are this. In the beginning stages we will begin to feeling thirsty, developing headaches, and experience the feeling of tiredness, loss of appetite, dryness of the mouth or eyes and dark urine.
