¿Qué componentes son esenciales para un negocio exitoso? Estoy seguro de que la innovación, el diseño y la creatividad no son las primeras cosas que vienen a la mente pero son conceptos esenciales para cualquier negocio exitoso. Para realmente entender cómo estos conceptos se implementan en el entorno empresarial es importante entender sus definiciones, cómo se relacionan entre sí, y cómo se diferencian. Una vez que estos tres conceptos se alcanzan en una organización se puede implementar los conceptos. Innovación se define como "creatividad más exitosa implementación" (Von Stamm, 2008).

Una diseño breve es el primer paso para el éxito del proyecto. Un diseño breve detalla los criterios que deben cumplirse en un proyecto. El diseño no deja el éxito del negocio al azar. El diseño es una herramienta estratégica para ganar ventaja en el mercado por las empresas que operan a nivel internacional. Sus productos, su marca, su promoción y sus comerciales locales están diseñados para maximizar la aceptación de los bienes del cliente y servicios que tienen para ofrecer y para optimizar la operación del día a día de sus negocios. Definitivamente, los beneficios del diseño también están disponibles para las empresas nacionales y locales. El proceso siempre puede ser adaptado a los recursos disponibles. Los diseñadores profesionales proporcionan un equilibrio de capacitación técnica y subjetiva que coinciden con las necesidades de muchas áreas de la industria. (Sawhney & Prahalad, 2010)
Muchos grandes inventores, empresarios y personas creativas han dicho que ellos fueron los primeros en llegar a una idea o producto, sin embargo, no se les dio crédito.
