New Orleans is a multi-ethnic city. The diversity in New Orleans keeps life attractive and keeps visitors coming. While using the critical-thinking skills developed in college, the scientific method will help in collecting data and research to determine what goods and services are needed. “The scientific method is a systematic method of investigation, evaluation, experimentation, interpretation and theorizing” (“Scientific Method in Business Research“, 2010, para. 1). Through a host of surveys, partnering with local businesses, and leadership will help understand what needs should be met first. The main problem that Kava has is that many disasters happen there each year. NOMTN understands whole-heartily because of the disasters that threaten the state of Louisiana each year. What happens in Kava affects the States and vice-versa. Defining the stakeholders will help jumpstart the efforts of building the head-quarters.
The Stakeholders and Ethics
The stakeholders have the same goals but different objectives. Alex is the director of strategic planning and my direct supervisor in Kava. The founder of NOMTN is Chris Moreles. Chris Moreles has a deep-seeded commitment to doing what is right for Kava. Alex describes that the organization is far from perfect but consistently tries to upgrade. Chris Moreles does not want to continue to take from Kava, but give back more to the island. Through the growth of NOMTN, the company has demonstrated that they can develop and manage effectively.
