Rational decision making is an important process that needs to be evaluated in order to expand business operations in Kava. This type of decision-making making process will assist the organization in effectively analyzing the various business alternatives and effective implementation techniques. The decision-making process is influenced by several factors such as economic factors, political factors and social factors. The process of rational decision-making consists of different steps such as defining the objectives, implementation and formulating alternatives.

Restore the damages to the buildings and infrastructure. They will also have to repair the communication channels. In the tourism industry, they will need to build solid and safe bunkers to keep the clients safe during natural disasters. They will have to develop or invest in disaster preparedness and response efforts for the frequent and various natural disasters.
Impact on Stakeholders
There are various impacts that will affect the shareholders. One of them is the various cultural identities of the island. They will need to learn and understand the different type of people, their language, culture and the varied traditions of the islanders. Half of the population is under the age of 15 years old, that will impact on their need to hire experience employees. Another impact is understanding and responding to the various natural disasters that occur frequently. They will also have to learn and understand the different laws and regulations to include the environmental laws, the international laws and the local, domestic laws. They would have to adjust to the social and environmental factors could lead to ethical issues for the organization.
This rational decision-making technique would be the most effective way to analyze and make the decision to expand in Kava. This technique would allow the organization to gather and analyze facts, data and desired results to present to the stakeholders. The organization can use the collected information for the planning and implementation of expansion.
