Kava is a small island country in the South Pacific. Kava has been plagued with unfortunate circumstances that have brought about on disaster after another. This is a country that is in dire need of some help and aid in the situation of getting the country cleaned up and on its way to recovery. Kava needs help in cleaning up this small island and revitalization is on the way. Target, as a company, is dedicated to helping the community and would help Kava try to recover from all the disasters they have gone through. Target Corporation has committed them to lending a hand to the island of kava to help pull them through the disasters the island has suffered. Target has a mission to expand and manage an exceptional operation in addition to a professional organization process. With the purpose of the company; marketing, finance, purchasing, technology, human resources, physical resource, transportation, strategic planning and leadership Kava will begin to develop and grow.
Target’s mission statement is “Our mission is to make Target the preferred shopping destination for our guests by delivering outstanding value, continuous innovation and an exceptional guest experience by consistently fulfilling our Expect More. Pay Less. Brand promise.” To support our mission, we are guided by our commitments to great value, the community, diversity and the environment. One thing that needs to be done is to expand the current location of the Target store or find a new location if there is not enough room for expansion. The Target that is currently in Kava is only one of the minimal stores. Expanding the store to a Target Great land would introduce new products that would help in times of disasters. Another potential problem or concern that the stakeholders may want to be informed about is the acquisition of land in this country and how much the initial clean up they will be helping with.
