Kudler Fine Foods, established in 1998 is a specialty food store. The products at Kudler Fine Food are fresh and the inventory must be correctly tracked. It is used in designing and planning databases. The information presented in the entity relation diagrams contains the company entities and the affiliation amongst them. An entity relationship diagram are made up of four symbols: ovals describe the entity, diamonds to describe relationship, rectangles to represent entities, characteristics, and connecting lines shows relationships. The entity relationship diagram illustrating the existing data table is at the end of this paper.
Recommendation for improvements to the Data Tables
Pivot tables are tools use to analyze, explore, summarize and present data. It’s a two-dimensional numerical outlines of database data and can be enhanced by positioning the codes in order and categorization the information by collecting the list of product inventory levels. This should enable detecting items for a department that sells different items. Information arrangement will let envisioning quicker and find the information they want to make effective choices.
Kudler can improve decision making through Pivot Table
The company inventory data ought to offer management with specific information in a very resourceful way to allow improved decision making. Data tables provided should show management which items needs to be orders, needs to be obsolete and how many items are in each store.
