Cosmetic and plastic surgery have become more popular now rather then when it first came out. A lot of people want to have work done. People don’t realize the risks and dangers of having surgery. People should do their research and pick the right surgeon for the surgery they are wanting. Most people have their own opinions on surgery. I have thought about having surgery. I want to do my research before I even consider getting it done.

A few types would be implants. You could get breast implants, cheek, implants, and even butt implants. I would say these would be the three most popular implants. You can also get a face life, getting a facelift would consist of removing skin around the eyes, lips, and nose. A lot of heavier people are getting liposuction. With liposuction they would remove the fatty part of your tummy, legs, and arms.

With every surgery there are always risks and dangers. Today the dangers of cosmetic surgery have been lessen, curtsey to advance in technique, instruments allowing patients their safety and satisfaction. About 75% moms want to have plastic surgery to make them look younger and feel more youthful. It can be immensely dangerous to get exposed to the ill effects of plastic surgery but a through knowledge about dangers and risks of it is relaxing the patient. Getting prepared for the consequences if arise and thus greatly reducing the harm. In today’s world people are prepared to take a few risks in order to reap the benefits offered by plastic surgery. When you are considering having plastic surgery it’s always good to find a surgeon that has a lot of experiences.

Bleeding, scarring, necrosis, nerve damage, and adverse reactions to anesthesia these are some of the most common general risks and dangers associated with plastic surgery. Bleeding is pretty regular phenomenon for a few hours following surgery and can sometimes result to complications. Blood clotting and it’s accumulation under the skin can result in a condition called hematoma which will be firm in appearance and feel, and the color of overlaying skin may change to blue and purple. The area experiences a characteristic pains but pain gets reduced gradually once our bodies own anti clotting mechanism starts addressing the specific area and reabsorbs the accumulated blood. If the condition remains status quo and hematoma continual to grow, it will compress the surrounding tissues and disrupts the flow of oxygen through blood from circulation around that area.

This may lead to numbness, swelling, and inflammation and skin death. Scarring is one of the most common risks one should be aware of. It’s closely related to suture reactions and wound healing capability. During the process of healing, a thickening of skin edge and formation of granular tissue can occur. Most surgeons like to hide the scarring in places where they are not noticeable, for example the breast augmentation the incision lines are hide under the crease of the breast, and the tummy tuck operations its beneath the swing wear line. Necrosis is death of tissues due to insufficient supply of oxygen to the operated area.

This risk is very rare in normal surgeries involving face-lifts, breast reductions, tummy tucks, and there is a possibility of necrosis. It increases with sudden inflammation. Smokers are prone to this possibility as blood vessel constriction and...
