In Wikipedia religion is defined“A religion is an organized collection of beliefs, cultural systems, and worldviews that relate humanity to an order of existence.” There are approximately more than four thousand religion in the world. Christianity and Islam are part of the major significant religion.
Christianity was founded by Jesus Christ approximately 2,000 years ago; Christianity is one of the most influential religions in world history. Christianity developed out of Judaism in the first century C.E. Christianity is the life, teachings, miracles, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and the followers "Christians." Christianity is also noted for its emphasis on faith in Christ as the primary component of religion. The sacred text of Christianity is the Bible, including both the Old Testament and the New Testament. Christianity teaches that there is only one God in all existence, that God made the universe, the Earth, and created Adam and Eve. God created man in His own image. So, the Fundamental principle that defines the Christian experience is love; the love of God and love of our fellow human beings. Christianity is the only religion that teaches salvation by grace.  This means that we are not made right before God by our efforts, sincerity, or works.  Instead, we are made right before God by faith in what Christ did on the cross. Christianity further teaches that once a person is "born again" he becomes saved. It means the Holy Spirit lives in that person and the person is changed:  "Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come," (2 Cor. 5:17). 
The origin of Islam can be traced back to 7th century Saudi Arabia. Islam is thus the youngest of the world religions. The prophet Muhammad introduced Islam in 610 A.D. after experiencing what he claimed to be an angelic visitation. Muhammad dictated the Qur'an, the holy book of Islam which Muslims believe to be the preexistent, perfect words of Allah. Islam came to being through the birth of Ishmael by Hagar to Abraham. Hagar was the servant of Abraham and Sarah. Ishmael was not the child of promise God had in mind for Abraham through Sarah.
