There are a lot of customers around the world, thus there’ll have different needs and wants demand by customers. Motorola would like to be the leading product provider. So, it has to be a product provider that can provide innovative products for all the customers in orders to fulfill what have been demand by the them. It can complete its tasks through the providing portfolio of technologies, solving method and services.

It is a descriptor, motivator and it helps to differentiate and measures an organization. A mission statement is best to be two or three sentences long. It could describe the aim and the reason of the organization exists to the public. Moreover, a mission statement could include specific information such as the market is seeks to dominate or the demographic populations it seeks to serve. Mind that mission statement should not be too general. Mission statement is also a motivator. It motivates the employees to see how their efforts are supporting the organization. It'll leads to the better growth of the organization. The marketplace is so competitive nowadays. A strategic management of an organization will uses their mission statement to highlight their advantages and strong point. In example, “Maintaining a global viewpoint, we are dedicated to supplying products of the highest quality, yet at a reasonable price for worldwide customer satisfaction” (Mission statement of Honda). They highlighted that they'll supply products of highest quality yet at a reasonable price. They showed that their customer will be at worldwide. This is how mission statement is important and it’s importance in an organization.

PEST analysis is a type of situation analysis in which political, economic, socio-cultural and technological factors are examined to chart an organization’s long-term plans. Political factors are basically to what degree the government intervenes in the economy which involved government stability, taxation and spending in the country of operation. Economic factors influence the state of the trading economy in the country. It includes economic growth, interest rates, exchange rates and the inflation rate. Next, socio-cultural factors encompass demographics, education and income distribution. These factors influence customer needs and the size of the potential market. Lastly, technological factors consider the advancement in technology and the potential within the market. PEST analysis gives an understanding of the boarder business environment. It also inspires the development of strategic thinking. Besides, it also helps an organization to look forward to future difficulties and take action to avoid their effect. PEST analysis can help an organization to spot business opportunities and make use of them successfully.
In this assignment, we have chosen to conduct a PEST analysis for McDonald. Firstly, let just go through the political analysis of the company. There are many policies, rules by different government impacting operation of McDonalds, as the political decision changes with time. Therefore McDonalds has to adjust their operation along with the change of the politics of the concerned place of operation.
