Communication technology is referred to as “mediated communication”. In the world technology is always bettering itself with different methods of communications from the first ever email to now when u have free apps that allow the customer to call and text people for free with the touch of a screen. Communications is based on communicating faster, cheaper and more powerful means of sending and receiving the messages.

Another disadvantage that can occur with this communications technology is that it is very expensive. It is extremely expensive to install this service into large companies. It is also expensive update the software and to fix any machines.
For some people they use the internet to connect with others to play online games these games can be open to the public, so sometimes the general public can see the player’s information. Business use private websites to connect there company with others.
Mobile Phones have changed and are not only used for calling and sending messages. With the new Phones they are used for more than communication purpose, such as they are now used for social media such as Facebook, Twitter, and Snapchat etc. Many mobile Phones are being used to do shopping online. In the workplace it is very important to be able to communicate with the public, as this is the first point of contact for the customer/client and first impressions are very important.
