Sitting down to watch the television today is more than just enjoying your favorite program. Commercials are a huge part of today's television programming. Seldom can we sit down and watch a show on T.V. without interruptions of commercials trying to persuade us to buy something or send somebody our money. The people behind the production of commercials use glamorous objects to appeal to the consumers and to, in turn, provoke them to buy their product. Advertisers start off with a lady and a moped and a cop, and a weather lady just to name a few. They try to use humor and familiar things, just like with the music to keep you watching. Many people just record the things that they want to watch, so that way they can just fast forward through the commercials.
Finally, Subway advertisers say things to sell themselves, like “Fiver Dollar Footlong.” Heck, that’s a good deal to people, and Subway is good for you. People like deals, and this is a big advertisement, as people can’t go without food. They sure do get a lot out to their viewers in the short 30 seconds that they have. The commercials at Subway are always changing as Subway is always running specials. A commercial is an amazing component of advertisement, even though one commercial only lasts an average of thirty seconds
In conclusion, the Subway commercial is family friendly, humorous, and wanting people to come to Subway for a sandwich. Just how the commercials come off to people are getting people to come there. I love Subway and could eat there everyday. Just thinking about this makes me want Subway. With the way the recession has impacted the United States, people look for deals like this. Commercials have been around for decades and are a great source of advertising. This is why commercials sell so well.
