Club IT is a night club owned by Lisa Tejada and Ruben Keys. They are seeking advice and guidance on how to maintain their high energy, high-impact club. Ruben also wants to explore some new e-commerce technologies and applications to help build his clubs clientele and community and to help their business be more efficient. Their clientele regularly uses mobile technologies like the Blackberries, camera phones, PDA’s, and other wireless communication devices. IT solution #1 Customer Relation Management (CRM)
The Clubs customers will worry about their security while they are interacting with the club, this system will make sure of the security. The business needs to have an edge of something different that others don’t have yet. This will not only give you security it will keep you on tract with customer trends and fashion. All this will enhance the customer’s experience. CRM is the focus on these needs; one way of making this easy, fun and more “social” is by using social plug-ins like Facebook’s Comment plug-in, or Authentication plug-in. Sending ads to cell phones not enough to be a nuisance, let them know of upcoming events.
IT solution #2 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
The main purpose for the ERP is to compile all the information for the planning, management, and use of all the businesses resources. The projects aim is to increase the day-to-day activities for the club by enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of the process. The system finds the most cost effective ways to pour the drinks for example. Club IT would use the ERP system for centralizing all of its operations and getting rid of redundant materials. It would allow them to use a pouring system that stops its pours at the right measurement, so it would not over pour costing the business money and breaking the alcohol laws for the state. The system would centralize all of the ordering and distributing, having everything at your fingertips for review is a big plus in the business world.
IT solution #3 Supply Chain Management (SCM)
Supply chain management is a way for Club IT to use the resources that are available to them. The system takes the materials the club needs to make its product or service and manufactures that product or service and brings it to the customer.
