Club IT is a fun and energetic club owned by Lisa and Ruben. They invested in remodeling the club and adding a new music venue. Lisa and Ruben were pleased with the result but noticed that they were lacking in the knowledge of information systems, which would help them create a competitive edge over other nightclubs in the area. The next step is to determine which information system will be most effective during this transition. As the information technology intern the recommendation is to use functional area systems, and customer relationship management system to help organize the data. Club IT will need functional software to assist in the daily operations of financial planning, budgeting, financial transactions, and human resources. Establishing a system will help Lisa and Ruben effectively manage the financials and the office-related tasks to allow more time to focus on customer relations. A customer relationship system will help the club understand the customer by collecting profiles and preferences.
Customer Relationship Management (CMR) is a strategy used to learn information about the customers personal information, purchasing behaviors, and need to help build a stronger relationship with them. Club IT has a website providing information about the club and what it has to offer to their customers.
