As management team of an organization it is necessary to ensure the safe welfare of the people at all times. First, analyze inputs, outputs processes agreed on and understand that their other ways in which these processes can be better. Such changes are necessary for process reasons and management must be set to report such changes. There are positions in companies responsible for ensuring that processes, products, and services offered comply fully with the expectations of customers. The so-called "quality controls" are the order of the day in different industries, thus minimizing the losses that come when there is a claim for defective product or service. The following provides an example of how practical quality control is essential in company.

When improving the process for quality management the use diagrams can be used make sure the process shows the cost is effective and will fix the problem make sure that the machines are running in good condition and that it is not an error of the employees.
Shifting the entire system to fix the defects could prove to be detrimental to the company. Through the audits of quality assurance, there may be issues with variations in the process. There could be an issue in the process and can be fixed with minimal expense. Managers analyze every aspect of the process before a decision is made. Juran’s 85/15 rule states that improving defects can be accomplished by improving the operating systems. There is an issue in the process, but the question is, where the defects are occurring. To find a problem they must start at the beginning of the process. Gathering this information and after further investigation it was discovered that in March 2010 the company started buying cheaper plastic from Kobe Japan. The company was going to save millions of dollars using this company. They also switched raw material providers to save money. Because of this change there has been a rise in defects because the use of raw materials. In June 2010 the company had 6.5 defects per 1000 dies. Four months later in October 2010 the defects increased to 25 defects per 1000 dies.
