Christian Worldview Paper
I believe everyone has their own opinion or beliefs about criminology based on how they were raised as Christians and the experiences they could had as just being humane and observing the criminology system as it relates to others and personally.
My personal perception of criminology and my Biblical beliefs are, whenever a crime is committed, I often ask why did someone commit ...view middle of the document...
This is where Criminology serves its purpose as studying these crimes and what caused the person to act out a certain way and why the crime was committed and with this data, hopefully there can be systems such as counseling and treatment facilities to help offset and create a healthy environment for the person that committed the crime and society.
Everyone has a worldview. Whether or not we realize it, we all have certain presuppositions and biases that affect the way we view all of life and reality. A worldview is like a set of lenses which taint our vision or alter the way we perceive the world around us. Our worldview is formed by our education, our upbringing, their worldview is simply something they have absorbed by osmosis from their surrounding cultural influences. They have never thought strategically about what they believe and wouldn’t be able to give a rational defense of their beliefs to others, Hhtp://www.christianworldview.net/. What we do and say does affect the opinion of others and perceptions are created. This is often the same way that I view criminology, my perception has been set by what I have observed throughout my life. Criminology is greatly needed throughout many communities in our country. I believe one of their objectives are to make the world a better place. “Our desire for you is Christ will live in your hearts by faith, and that you will come to know and understand with us the height and the depth and the width and the length of the Love of Christ. It surpasses all human knowledge. We pray that you can be filled with the fullness of God. (Edh, 3:18-19
