Confucianism comprises one of the religions of the world in China. The current China puts all efforts in a bid to see that the religion comes back and people start worshiping it. Confucianism termed as a religion, which used to exist in the 6th century BCE in China, and, which many Chinese loved to practice can come into practice again today by introducing it in schools as a subject. The devotion of one towards the service of ensuring unity determines who can act as a good family member and who cannot. If one can keep the virtues of their leaders, when in their presence, and when not in their presence, that means the person can turn out as a good family member. The commitment the Confucianism members give equals the commitment by anyone serving the state. This means solidarity must persist forever whether during difficult times or easy moments.
According to Lunyu in the analects, ritual enables the people to show their goodness. This includes caring for others and exhibiting the right morals in the society. Good in the passage means humanity. Thus, a person considered good portrays humane qualities, that is can sympathize with the worse situations of others and can comfort and share the sorrows with their friends. Therefore, the reason why the good can only despise others comes because of the humane virtues attributed to the good. The ease or difficult of being humane and possessing the humane qualities makes a person to show love to another or despise them.
The Analects highlights that, the Confucius should not exactly habit a place where the good people only win. The Confucius have a duty to accomplish and this calls for them to dedicate themselves fully no matter the challenges and this comes as a result of the quote by Lunyu that, “heaven uses Confucius as a clapper for a bell”.
