Childhood VS. Adulthood
As we go through our life we have two important parts and those include the time of childhood and adulthood. It is all a matter of how you see both time periods. Although both are key stages in life, the responsibility free and fun loving lifestyle of childhood is nostalgic.
One major difference between childhood and adult hood is that children are able to be free in their behavior. For example, children can make all these notable mistakes because as a young child that is when you are starting to learn right from wrong, so you will not get severally punished. Plus young children can also be silly all the time and not be as serious about certain situations. It is like a care free sense of behavior because you do not do things to impress or get people to think highly of you. Plus a child`s behavior is full of boundless energy it is like you are never tired. Unlike when ...view middle of the document...
Other than that childhood is a very care and responsibility free time in one’s life, and honestly it is something everyone likes to look back on and refer to it as a time when everything was simply. Now in adulthood it is a whole other boat. You have to think and stress about work, keeping up with the house, your family, and a list of endless things. Adults do not have the privilege of putting things off, or being careless because if adults would do that there are consequences awaiting. So once you hit a certain age you can kiss goodbye to a stress free life and start getting used to the reality every kid must eventually face.
Now my favorite thing that childhood offers is how it gets you to view the world. Children are made to believe that you can become whatever you want to be. From president to a princess, and even though the people feeding them this information know it will not happen the kids will continue to believe that is what they will make themselves. Children are also taught that you could basically trust everyone and everyone is nice, so that gives childhood a huge sense of positivity which is a beautiful to see the world so innocently. Kids just see the world as endless opportunities filled with people that are nothing but good which is such a beautiful thing to think you can do anything you set your mind to. But in adulthood you face reality and you know the real obstacles you need to face. Everything you want is not just handed to you on a silver platter, and everyone you meet are not good people. The sad part is I think learning all that the hard way. As in trying to do something you really want and it all falls through or putting all your trust in someone who just back stabs you or lets you down. Facing reality as an adult is nothing compared to the optimism you have as a child.
It is clear when there are obvious differences in these two points in one’s life but something about our childhood is a lot sweeter and full of innocence. But still no matter the differences between adulthood and childhood these are two parts of life that make you whole.
