Emotional: Builds self-esteem and becomes more confident.

12 – 16 years Puberty.
Changes in shape and size of the body.
Physical strength and stamina increases. Emotional: Hormonal changes cause mood swings.
Social: Enjoys spending time with friends.
16 – 19 years Fully developed (girls) and (boys) up to 18yrs.
Might become sexually active.
More aware of how they appear physically. Emotional: Start to have sexual relationships and may feel unsecure.
Communication: Confidence in having conversations with older people.
