Strategic Focus and Plan:
FP Enterprises will offer tablets that are well designed. “They will be available in many colors and sizes”. (1/87th.) The prices will vary by size and memory. The price of the tablets will start at an affordable $49.00 and vary according to the criteria chosen by the customer.
The mission of FP Enterprises is to provide quality products at affordable prices to satisfy the customers in this rapidly growing market. It also aims to challenge the proprietor to find quality innovations in a face-paced market.
The company’s main goal is to help consumers by providing a cost-alternative product so that they can access the internet and other important documents whenever they need to. Apart from this FP Enterprises intends to grow financially as well as to have a public stock offering within two years.
Core Competency and Sustainable Competitive Advantage:
The company promotes its Ebay store by using Facebook as an advertising media. It also uses Craig’s List as another form of media to make its presence felt. FP Enterprises has found a market for affordable tablets. Research (Kosner, 2012) has shown that there is a growing trend where consumers are looking for quality tablets at affordable prices. FP Enterprises is committed to ensuring that the consumers receive what they need and ultimately want.

This situation analysis will describe the environment that FP Enterprises will be involved in. “A SWOT analysis will show the strengths”, (Threats) weaknesses, opportunities and threats that FP Enterprises faces. Following the SWOT analysis, a detail of the industry and its competitors will be given.
In an era where the popularity of smartphones and notebooks are increasing, FP Enterprises is faced with challenges in the areas of sourcing, marketing and the pricing of an innovative and exciting tablet. The SWOT Analysis will highlight the internal and external issues FP Enterprises is facing. FP Enterprises is determined to source tablets that compete with the more popular and expensive Ipad.
The biggest strength that FP Enterprises can boast is that it will deliver a variety of products instead of one like most competitors. The software offered will be extremely user friendly but reasonably priced. The customers who would like to have a tablet at their disposal but would prefer to spend less will have the advantage of choosing from a variety of tablets that FP Enterprises will source on the internet at sensible price. This will be the key selling point for FP Enterprises. The options are endless.
