Executive Summary
The aim of this report is to introduce a business plan named “Be Smart” for t-shirt designing and printing basically aimed at the customers who are in the range of 14-43. The idea behind to start up such a business is the growing needs and expectations of new age customers, who want to experiment with their cloths and hence, our company will provide a platform for their imagination through our wide range of custom designs and the option to draw designs by our artist. In artwork segment, the customers prefer to have a design or graphic they fantasize and the artwork will be done by our artist to bring customers’ imagination on their t-shirts.
The company will also have its own website enabling the option for customers to select and order the designs for their t-shirt and get delivered at home.
The marketing campaign will seek to increase visibility for Be Smart, emphasizing the ability of the customer to completely customize their design. The various ways will be used for its marketing campaign are Social Networking websites, youth groups, advertising
Introduction of business: - Be Smart is an exciting new business concept that allows people to custom design a shirt (specifically the design on the front or back) any way that they would like. Be Smart will harness the power of computer sublimation to allow custom shirt printing with the latest leveraging cutting edge technology. The Company was founded by Sandip Kumar. The company is to set up at the Jervis Centre, Dublin. In addition to, there will be a comprehensive company website that allows people to order design and get it delivered at home.
Be Smart allows the customers to imagine the ability to create a totally custom t-shirt. Customers can choose the material and style of the shirt, and then the image or graphic they want, whether on the front and/or back. This form of expression makes the idea completely unique and ultimate. There are no limits for the ways to communicate through designs and graphics. People may show their fanaticism by different ways i.e. for a particular sports team, a musician or a social message or cause on the t-shirt. Be Smart allows the people to design and print whatever they think or choose.
Be Smart will offer customers a variety of options for creating their own custom shirts. The majority of orders will be for t-shirts; however other style shirts will be available. Be Smart has developed a strategic relationship with Hewlett-Packard (HP) printer division. The company is going to use the printer sublimation technology of HP, which allows a computer image to be applied to a t-shirt in a manner which reflects the high resolution, quality of the image and is done economically. This technology will allow the t-short design to durable for washings and the color will not fade. It’s significantly higher printer resolution will be able to print and show off any picture or image with its photo-like quality. The technology is cost effective and offers customers the ability to order as little as just one unit, which gives our company a competitive edge over other competitors because of their inability to print one unit. Finally, our extensive library of existing images would help the customers to choose their design from; they can also supply their own image, or can have an artist create an image for them.
