1) Describe any situation in which you were involved where the communication went wrong. Analyze the communication process in that situation, using the terms sender, receiver and other elements. Which element (s) of the communication process disrupted the situation? What lessons did you learn?

The elements which disrupted the communication are the channel sender chosen did not guarantee whether the receiver (me) is receiving it or not. And also she gave the information on inappropriate timing which was an off day for me. She could have given the information in advance on Friday before I left my duty.
From this incident I have learned that in different situation some of the communication channels may not work. So we have to choose the right channel before we give the information. So the receiver will receive it on time. By placing the information on notice board at the same time she could have informed me verbally through a phone which would me much effective. And also she could have chosen a working day to give the information.
2) a) Who are the external stakeholders that Amway communicates with?
Answer: - An External Stakeholder is anyone outside a particular business who is affected by its success or failure.
The external stakeholders that Amway communicates with are:-
Consumers: - The consumer of Amway is a person or an organization that purchases goods from them for individual use rather than for resale or manufacturing. Amway sells its products directly to consumers through its vast distributor network. Mostly Amway communicate with their consumers through advertisements and internet.
ABOs: - ABOs are the Amway Business Owners. There are more than 3million ABO’s across 30 countries which they have their own business. Through ABOs Amway seek regular feedback from customers. They communicate through Websites, emails and voice mail. And also they produce a magazine especially for their ABO’s which shares a lot of information between each other.
Suppliers: - Amway encourage and expect open and active communication with their suppliers. Amway has a supplier portal, located at http://supplier.amway.com, which is a dedicated supplier website designed to provide up-to-date requirements, guidelines and business intelligence reporting for Amway Operations.
Community Partners: - Corporate social responsibility at Amway involves sustaining societal causes, performing in an ethical way by manufacturing good products and supporting its stakeholders in a number of ways. Amway...
