1. The most important force at this time would be the Product and Technology Development. Currently the café is being ran like it is still 1952 and it is now 2010. There are many technology upgrades that Broadway Café can use to bring itself to this time. The biggest would get rid of doing everything by paper. Computers make it very easy to keep track of finances and payroll. Also, computers and cash registers can be put into to help with point of sale and giving the café the ability to accept credit or check cards. After that, it would be helpful for Broadway Café to develop a website so that people can look up the location, menu, and send an email if they like. Then, of course, the installation of wireless internet that all the coffee shops/cafes have been installing.
2. The second force to be look at would be Buyer Power. You want to make sure that you have the sizes and amounts that the customers are wanting in their food and beverages. You would need to know what market of people you are trying to attract to Broadway Café.
3. The final force to look at would be Competitive Rivalry. Broadway Café will need to know their competitors. Competitors need to be analyzed to see what items they offer and what their prices are so that you can be competitive in the market.
