Bagaimana ‘Strategy Laut Biru’ (BOS) mencipta strategi pemasaran yang kukuh untuk sesebuah perniagaan?

Strategi Laut Biru (BOS) merupakan strategi di mana ia mencipta satu pasaran yang belum ada pesaing dan seterusnya akan mewujudkan persaingan yang tidak relevan. Strategi ini berbeza dari Strategi Laut Merah di mana ia bersaing di dalam pasaran yang sudah wujud dipasaran. Ia turut dikenali sebagai ‘ruang pasaran’ yang bermaksud pasaran memang telah wujud. Ini merupakan kelebihan bagi BOS kerana ia dapat menarik perhatian ramai pelanggan malahan dalam satu kelompok yang besar untuk memasuki pasaran yang baru dicipta tersebut. Sebaliknya berlaku apabila perniagaan tersebut mempunyai pesaing. Syarikat tersebut perlulah memikirkan cara bagaimana untuk bersaing dengan pesaing mereka supaya dapat terus bertahan di dalam pasaran. Persaingan yang bijak ialah apabila syarikat itu menggunakan kaedah campuran pemasaran yang betul. Campuran pemasaran yang berkesan akan dapat menarik pembeli. Menggunakan BOS sebagai asas dalam menjalankan perniagaan juga merupakan satu langkah yang bijak kerana ia hampir-hampir tidak mempunyai pesaing langsung di dalam pasaran. Kebanyakkan strategi Laut Biru adalah dicipta dari dalam ataupun dari keperluan pada masa itu, bukannya dari masa hadapan.

Dalam mewujudkan suatu pemasaran yang kukuh, strategi yang digunakan perlulah sesuai. Adalah sangat penting bagaimana perjalanan strategi yang kita gunakan tersebut dipraktikkan. Kita perlulah mengetahui bagaimana tindakan pengurusan strategi tersebut dijalankan serta bagaimana keputusan dalam mewujudkan pasaran baru dibuat. Perlulah dipastikan bahawa strategi tersebut dapat mewujudkan suatu pasaran perniagaan yang baru kepada sesebuah perniagaan. Sesebuah perniagaan juga perlu bijak bagaimana untuk menarik sekelompok pelanggan yang baru disebabkan ianya satu pasaran yang baru.

Kunci kejayaan untuk mewujudkan sebuah pasaran perniagaan yang baru bukanlah Penyelidikan dan Pembangunan (R&D) semata-mata. Apa yang paling penting ialah mewujudkan satu pasaran yang kukuh dengan mengambil strategi pemasaran yang betul. Sebuah syarikat yang yang dapat memahami strategi yang baik bagi menjalankan perniagaan akan dapat menghasilkan ‘laut biru’ yang sangat baik. Peningkatan yang berterusan semestinya akan sentiasa mengiringi perniagaan yang dapat menjalankan strategi pemasaran yang betul. Keuntungan yang diperoleh juga membolehkan perniagaan tersebut terus bertahan di dalam pasaran baru tersebut.
