Managers, everyday make ethical decisions, which in some cases can make or break a business, which is why InterClean managers must continue to operate, manage, and make decisions ethically. Continuing to be ethical as a manager, InterClean will have a satisfied clientele, good employees and an excellent work environment. As managers, we also must continue to educate ourselves on the basics of federal and state employment laws on a regular basis, because this will not only increase your awareness but also to ensure compliance. InterClean managers must remember not to discriminate in any form or fashion, such as sex, racial, age, disability, or religious discrimination. Managers should also encourage our employees to understand their employment rights, laws and others’ rights by conducting training with subordinates on a regular basis. Developing knowledge of employees’ culture will be a vital factor with the globalization nature of our business. That is why as managers, you have to be very clear about performance standards and job requirements. InterClean will have to treat our employees as individuals and evaluate each employee individually fairly based on their performance standards and job requirements.

Diversity in the workplace will be a good thing for InterClean. Diversity in the workplace can increase marketing opportunities, creativity, and our business image. Diversity can be critical for our company’s success. As managers you will need to have the understanding and accepting of different cultures within InterClean’s new employees, with respect to age, ethnicity, gender, physical and mental ability, race, and sexual orientation.
