On the other hand they’re still a good profit, and that is by playing educational games similar to Sudoku. A challenging and competitive game that helps you improves your math skills while having fun. Other experts agree with these findings, saying that solving challenging mind games like Sudoku puzzles inhibit or prevent the development of Alzheimer’s disease and memory loss. Health trends also show that adults with demanding, and intellectually challenging jobs benefit from better mental function when they aged. Sudoku functions just like these jobs because it requires brain exertions.
Related to this game is our “mat maniac”, it aims to give mental exercise to people and build up their ability in mathematics and logic. This is to give them relaxing past time work with great benefits. [be bukas ko na dagdaga or revise or baguhin. XD basta. Haha.]
[These games’ may give us neither a positive or negative effect. Depending on what game do they played. Most of its favors are leisure and experience, learning, as well as improving our cognitive, logical, and managerial skills, yet majority of computer games bare violence and unpleasant characteristics. Youth do spend large amount of time to this games and it can lead to poor social skills. Low grades and reading less. And to avoid this kind of situation kids should know or meet games that can exercise their minds and mental skills. BACKGROUND OF THE PROJECT
Computer games are designed not just to entertainment people but also to help them enhance their abilities in different things. Like this game Sudoku where we get our idea for “Mat maniac”, we want to bestow a game where people can use their mathematical knowledge while taking pleasure. It's a well known fact that as we grown up, our brain begins to decay, just as our body does. While physical exercise is the surefire way to keep us healthy and youthful well into our later years, mental exercise is the way to keep our brain sharp and active. And this verity is our reason in forming this game, aside from wanting to make a new version of Sudoku with the touch of snake game.
Mat maniac is a modified logic-based game, Sudoku and Minesweeper. Basically, its target is to fill in the entire cell by answering the mathematical equation. These games have something in common, that is to help the user enhance his memory mainly in solving; focus and brain speed. This project aims to create simple but educative games wherein users apply their ability to imagine general solutions for specific mathematical problems and quickly respond for what is being asked by the program. Program will search the answer for that specific question by backtracking.
