A country thrives when its citizens contribute and make an effort to make the most of what they are offered in life. President Barack Obama is very aware of this and has made it an important subject and goal in his presidential career to inspire youngsters in the right direction, both for their own sake and their country’s.

There is no excuse for not dedicating yourself one hundred percent to school. This message is all wrapped up in a more positive manner. He is very focused on praising each and every one by saying that there is a hidden talent in all of us, we just have to find it.
The location is at a school, so it is only fitting the subject, education, is brought up as the main theme throughout the speech. Barack Obama clearly emphasizes the importance of one again and again. One of the ways he does so is by letting everyone know just how important it really is. Their country needs them. Every job in society requires an education. For the country to thrive and bloom, people need to educate themselves and contribute. For example, if you’re starting your own firm that will mean increased job places for people in the country. If you become a doctor, you will perhaps be a part of curing world deceases. There are several great opportunities when you have got an education. I believe it is pretty clear here how he intentionally mentions jobs that not only are great jobs which requires students to work hard, it would also benefit the country immensely to have people like that, improving the economy.
