Throughout an early age I always took an interest too sports. I played numerous sports
from an early age such as soccer, basketball, football and baseball. My parents Deborah and
Jeffrey enrolled me in sports at the age of 5. They thought it would be a great idea to make new
friends and such which it has because to this day most of my best friends are guys I played sports
with. When I was young the main sports I took an interest in was soccer, basketball and baseball.
To this day I still play all those respected sports in men’s league and such. I played in numerous

And I had the same problem in basketball as I did in soccer with the
maturity and physicality but I fought through it and won numerous awards. I was part of the
fabulous freshmen. I won numerous awards going from All-league to All-county. The one award
I was upset I didn’t get was All-long island. But my goal was to change a program that was god
awful to a very competitive team and by the time I was a senior we were competing on all fronts.
My senior year we were 1 game away from heading to Stony Brook University to play in the
Suffolk county championships. I was 2nd all-time leading scorer until a young man named Evan
Maxwell took that away from me. But I did what I set out to do.
Playing Varsity baseball from a coach like Sal Ciampi was a big deal in East Islip. He
was a decorated coach who has done a lot for the program of baseball and football. He took me
under his wing as a freshmen and installed me right away as a starter. I started for him my frosh
and soph years until my junior. At the time I was going to go to school to play basketball, he
once told me I couldn’t play basketball at all during the spring ( which keep in mind is a big
recruiting period for basketball) because he didn’t want me to get hurt. I understood but I
couldn’t not play basketball so I eventually had to quit and that ended our friendship as a coach
