We have selected some of the topics to explain and focus on how they can apply to our daily life as well as to our job.A. MotivationAfter we studied the motivation theories, we understand that motivation is the psychological process, it would help us to face and solve our daily life problems under different situation generally. Motivation is the process, which drive behavior of individual or organization towards specific goals.In the organization, the goal is presenting her roles in the relevant markets. According to the goals, the "NEEDS" is the basic elements to drive towards the goals. However, there are many traits and barriers during the process. Since each of motivation technique, likely Maslow's needs hierarchy, Theory X and Theory Y, Hygiene factors, ERG Theory and McClellands's Theory of needs, have different features. It would drive the behavior of the individuals and the organization towards her goals.Basically, Maslow's "Hierarchy of needs" is the essence concepts of motivation; it include five continuously category, which drive from the basic needs, physiological category, through the safety, social, esteem to the self-actualization.In this hierarchy, each person in his relative category has their needs and goals. The mainly need for a General staff a is security for earning their live and with his family. The needs of Management staff is not only security, moreover the status, like his titles, status or representative. Likely, Mr. Li Ka Shing is a good example who is drive to his business and himself to the self-actualization. Since many Hong Kong citizens spend part of earning from Supermarket, like Parken's or Watson, for their daily living things likely rice, tissue.In any organization, there are many difference kinds of workers to perform their jobs. Generally, it can be concluded two styles, which is pro-active workers and active worker. In this two kind workers, pro-active style and active style are Theory X and Theory Y respectively. Many of Pro-active workers are not lazy, but they prefer the status on his current life. But the active worker will plan his future path to drive himself to reach their goals. We can implicate some projects for both styles, likely Job design, Job rotation, Job enrichment, task identity, task signification, skill variety, autonomy and feedback approach, to motivate workers towards the desired goals.Other than the Personalize view of motivation, the Hygiene Factors are also the essence motivation technique in an organization. Hygiene Factors are included pay and benefit, working conditions and subordinate. And Motivators are included job contest, job recognition, job achievement and job responsibility.
