Making a product is just half the job the rest half is making it recognised so that peple are conviced to buy it and advertising is a paid method of doing so. Advertising plays a vital role in positioning the product in the minds of customers and therefore it should be given a considerable thought and budget. Including advertising jingle in the commercials can be a wise strategy to keep the ad stay longer in consumer’s mind. As it is meant for a large market, therefore more money has to be spent. So, in the beginning we need to spend a lot on advertising the product. As there is no sales of sab noodles in the very starting so kissan will make use of profits earned through its other products to advertise this particular product. We will spend more on tv ads, internet ads and magazines etc and a comparitively lesser amount on direct selling(like outside college, offices etc.) and other methods. As told under the head Media we will be showing our commercials on star plus in the starting which will cost us Rs. 20 lacs for every 30 secs.
Message/advertising strategy-message is something which should be incisive. The content of the message should be crisp and clear to the target customers. our message is that sab noodles is for everyone. It is healthy and tasty and appropriate for every income group, each generation and people with different lifestyles. And we would like it to be delivered in simple ways by common people as it is for each class.
Media- we will make use of both print media and digital media as both have their own audiences. We will give advertisements in newspapers, magazines, etc. Also we will show commercials of sab noodles on T.V and we will also take help of social networking sites like facebook to p[romote it. As of now, we have selected a very famous and highly rated channel Star Plus to show our commecials on. The timing has been decided to be 8-9 pm because at this time TRP is highest for star plus.
Measurement- then we will measure the results. Nad based on them we will formulate our succeeding strategies.
