Adolf Hitler Essay By Nicole Yr 9

1960 words - 8 pages

The recurrent question being asked is, ‘What was Adolf Hitler really like?’ Adolf Hitler the tyrant was born into a lower middle class family in Braunau-am-Inn, in Austria on April 20th 1889. Of course being born in Austria made him a native Austrian not a native German, even though he moved from Vienna to Munich in May 1913. He had a childhood which was dominated by his overbearing and frequently violent father. On the day of his father's death he was able to act more freely, like himself. Hitler was an incredibly talented person. He was a confident speaker, and forceful man. He managed to influence 14.7 million people to vote for him to become the leader of their country. Hitler was able ...view middle of the document...

By showing citizens how confident Hitler was, it is leading others to believe he is going to become far more thriving, it will lure them in to think he is a great leader, and they have made the right decision to vote for him.
Hitler was a dictator that ordered the execution of millions of Jews and others, during his period of power for the Nazi party. Hitler had a scheme of blonde hair blue eyed people. Jews were defiantly not approved of. Hitler was certain he would get his way as he was such a ruler. If he didn’t like the Jews, the Jews would go. This is backed up by source five which states, “His dream of a racially pure empire would tolerate no Jews.” To get what he had wanted there were multiple concentration camps set up. This is where Jewish members were sent, for them it was akin to living in a place from hell. Some have the theory that Hitler was a psychopath. From the Psychohistory of Hitler, it does show he had a personality disorder, however at the same time he still was fully aware of his actions. From other views Hitler was mentally ill as he seemed to find it uncontrollable to not hate the Jews. He constantly killed them and enjoyed seeing them out of German race. It is said the Jewish posed no threat to the Germans; nonetheless he still wanted their entire race destructed. As well as this confirming Hitler was a dictator and a psychopath, it also links to him being a mass murderer. When the Jewish were sent to the camps they were separated from their loved ones, they were divided up into separated sexes. They were used to do jobs Hitler needed done. If some had a disability or Hitler was finished with them, they were told they were to strip down naked, and have a shower. Not realising where they were going, they were entering a gas chamber, a place of their very own death. Hitler didn’t want the Jews at all, he was a psychopath, and they were vermin to him. Soon the gas cost Hitler too much money. Instead he lined them up and one by one, they were shot dead in front of a deep trench so they would fall in.
All together Hitler murdered around 11 million people! A whooping 6 million were estimated as Jews. The rest were from his own country. This is why it was obvious he is a mass murderer. In 1933, the Jewish population of Europe stood at over nine million. Most European Jews lived in Germany, which Hitler disliked. By 1945, Hitler and the rest of Germany killed nearly two out of every three European Jews. He killed numerous amounts just because they were members of a particular race. German authorities also targeted other groups because of their diversity. Some of these were; Gypsies, the disabled, homosexuals, and a few Slavic peoples. Other groups were victimized on political and behavioural grounds.
Surely by killing millions and having no sympathy at all, Hitler was in some form deranged. Extracts from Hitler’s speech done on his opinions of Jews verify this (source 6). Part of the source states “If I can send the flower...
