Executive Summary

Adi Dassler was born November 3, 1900, in Herzogenaurach, Bavaria, Germany. He was one of three children, all boys. Growing up he earned a reputation for crafting athletic footwear. He created his first training shoes in 1920. Soon after he made his first pair of training shoes, he established the Dassler Brother Shoe Company with his brother Rudolph “Rudi” Dassler. Dassler made the shoes Jesse Owens wore when he captured for Gold Medals in the 1936 Olympics. Both brothers were reportedly members of the Nazi Party during World War II. After Horst’s death Adidas ran into some major financial problems, and later Bernard Tapie comes to make an attempt to save the company. Adolf invested a huge amount of effort to make his Adidas company popular, and he was successful in that. This company has a distinctive emblem - three parallel strips. Previously, it was manufacturing only sneakers and footwear, and now produced a variety of sporting goods: track suits, various accessories and more. Products are characterized by very good quality, reliability and practicality, because the Adidas company issued warrants for each product model. Things manufactured by this company are stylish and trendy, but the most important factor that is present in them is functionality. The Adidas company is the preferred manufacturer for many famous athletes because the goods that they produce are some of the best in the world.

Adidas is so successful because they offer a vast variety of products that are fashionable and affordable. Adidas products are separated into athletic shoes, cleats, clothing, and even exercise technology.
