Adi Dassler was born November 3, 1900, in Herzogenaurach, Bavaria, Germany. He was one of three children, all boys. Growing up he earned a reputation for crafting athletic footwear. He created his first training shoes in 1920. Soon after he made his first pair of training shoes, he established the Dassler Brother Shoe Company with his brother Rudolph “Rudi” Dassler. After Horst’s death Adidas ran into some major financial problems, and later Bernard Tapie comes to make an attempt to save the company. Adolf invested a huge amount of effort to make his Adidas company popular, and he was successful in that. This company has a distinctive emblem - three parallel strips. Previously, it was manufacturing only sneakers and footwear, and now produced a variety of sporting goods: track suits, various accessories and more.
