Pro-Life or Pro-Choice

The topic of abortion has been a pressing issue for decades. Abortion is not easily understood and is question daily, about it being murder or not. Many people have an opinion about abortion; these opinions turn into heated debates such as the case of “Roe v. Wade” this cased argued for a woman’s choice how they are “finding their voice”. Abortion is a serious issues but it does not just deal with the horror of aborting a child the women also have a right to say what goes on in their body and how they take care of it. The woman should have the choice to make up her own mind about when life starts for the child she may or may not be carrying.
Throughout a nine-month period a child is formed in the womb of a woman. The health care of a woman is important during a pregnancy before and after childbirth, if a woman has an abortion many say that’s a high health risk. This is not true do to a Fox News report done in 2011. The article exampled how early abortion do not trigger psychiatric problems, and team called the Munk-Olsen studied women from 1962 through1993 who either delivered their first child or had their first first-trimester abortion from 1994 through 2007. News. (2001, January 27). The Munk-Olsen team found out from their studies that most women who had the child sought out treatment for psychiatric problems. Health is important to everyone and when dealing with abortion most think of an older woman, not a young teen or even a child who has been a victim of a crime. I know abortion is not looked highly on but when dealing with a young teen or even a little girl their bodies alone cannot bare a child just yet they are still growing, especially to a young little girl her body has not even started maturing to handle child birth and as a result could kill her. During a life or death situation I agree with abortion used only as a result do to rape or health risk leading to death.
When dealing with the choice to abort a pregnancy it has been argued it should be up to the woman. The Supreme Court case Roe vs. Wade stated, “finding their voice”, woman should have the choice no matter what is said or thought of it.
