I. Thesis Statement
Abortionists are guilty of taking the life of an innocent, unborn baby prematurely; completely disobeying the commandment of the Lord.
II. Main Idea #1
Genesis 1:27 The Bible said that human beings, us, are made in the very image of God. Psalm 139:13-19 “…for I am fearfully and wonderfully made…”

It is one of the most controversial and highly charged issues of the modern day. A fiery battle is raging between advocates of radically liberal and conservative views; overwhelming us with arguments both for and against the subject. Those who acknowledge the process of abortion insist that any woman should be able to have it done on demand. Arguing that they have a legal right to do whatever they wish with their body and also stating that an “unborn fetus is only a mass of living tissue, not a human life.” Therefore, it is not wrong. On the other side of the argument, the opposing side questions its propriety; stating that “a person is present within the mother from the very moment of conception,” and so, as a result, they see abortion as the murder of a human being. Although each side has shared a logical justification of their view on the subject; above all, the most important question is, what does the Lord have to say?
First of all, the Bible said that human beings, us, are made in the very image of God. Therefore, all glory and praise should be given to the Lord for He has fearfully and wonderfully made each and every one of us. He has a plan stored for all, counting the unborn children, so to abort an unborn child will destroy and interfere with the work of the Lord. There will never be a justification given that will hide the truth that abortion is disannulling the plan of God. How could anyone be so cruel and heartless to take the life of an innocent child? Psalm 127:3 quotes that, “Children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.” No one has the right to take away one’s life but the Lord Himself. We are the children of the Lord. The lives of these children are in His hands, and it is not something that we should try to control. He entrusted each parent to nurture and take care of every child He has given them, but how wicked is this world that we are doing the complete opposite? They are a reward from God, a blessing. Every life has a purpose and is precious in the eyes of the Lord. They are not just a compilation of cells thrown together to make a human being. Rather, a perfect creation and reflection of the eternal God who knew us even before we were made. We are to be thankful for them because they are a precious, delicate gift given by the Lord that will bring happiness and joy in our hearts.
Second of all, the Bible repeatedly condemns the killing of the innocent for it is an awful act of murder that disobeys the Lord’s commandment written in Exodus 20:6, “Thou shalt not kill”. Abortion promotes killing. It promotes the idea that a woman has the right to do whatsoever with her body as she pleases, that with freedom; she should be able to choose whether or not she wants to have a child. But, that’s a decision that should have been made before conception, not after. In addition, abortion is child abuse. The legalization of abortion is supposedly an aide in decreasing the number of children who are...
